Education in this century becomes more transparent, and this might be embarrassing to the reputations of ivy league and other so-called prestigious universities.
Take the example of MIT releasing lectures and courses online. A scathing review in a British blog called some of the lectures "embarrassing," saying:
"Are MIT professors still using chalk on blackboards (such as this Physics lecture) and hand-drawn overhead transparencies? Presumably so from all the video lectures you can watch."
So will some of the prestigious universities may be out-classed pedagogically by lesser known but higher quality institutions?
