Younger docs use e-record keeping more

Younger physicians report using electronic medical records more than older physicians.Doctorplaying

The National Center for Heath Statistics reports that 44% of physicians aged under 35 report using full or partial electronic medical records.  That's opposed to physicians aged 65 and older, where only 18% of docs use e-records.

For doctors aged 35-44, 27%
Age 45 - 54, 25%
Age 55 - 64, 18%

Generational change will make all these changes happen. In 2020 the oldest Gen Yer will be 41, and the youngest Gen Yer will be 21.

I was thinking about electronic mail systems and cursive - when will the day come that US posta;l service cannot read cursive writing on mail??
