Gen Y is also "on the move" economically.
The huge 80 million generation cannot be denied. And they have declared gay rights to be their cause, their civil rights struggle. With gay marriage now legal in New York, New York economically becomes "Gen Y Friendly," not just gay friendly. Soon other states will, for economic reasons, pass similar legislation. Then gay unfriendly states lose out economically as gays and Gen Y declines to live and produce and pay taxes in gay unfriendly states.
