This year we saw students put more demands on higher education, furthering the obvious: that the higher education system is broke.
For the first time, online instructors reported students wanting more and more multimedia in online courses.
In the Chicago teacher's strike, we saw for the first time that states are now demanding teacher accountability, which will come to faculty in higher education as well.
For the first time, Richard Arum measured student learning outcomes coming OUT of college and compared it to future success in the workplace.
And in 2012 COMPLETION RATES became a topic of conversation.
Biggest outrage of the year. University of Central Florida, or UCF, which students claim stands for "U Can't Finish," punishes student Tim Arnold for helping students to complete with his software and app on finding spaces in available classes.
It's a nice thing

Higher education is really necessary. Many students are trying their best just to surpass this level in education due to the opportunity that can ab;e to get when they have a very good background on it.

It is understandable that students are more demanding of higher education; it's a steep investment to make and everyone wants to find a job after graduation.
