Community college CEOs came one step
closer to having one of them create a pilot test of the STEM solution, a pilot
program that will boost completion rates and create more four year college
graduates.
Draves noted the new STEM immigration
bill will not solve the problem, which demands 14 million more skilled workers
than we now have. “We’re excited to come
one step closer to having a college president work with us and create a program
to boost completion rates by 10-15%,” Draves said.
