Early June on the Lake

Saw two loons on the lake this week.

Mindy Roberts saw a fox in back of Carl Watras' place this week.  If you are coming up this week, drop in at the Carlin Club 4 p.m. Saturday and have some drinks with us.

I had a call from Gayle Strand this week, who had had a bear on her deck one evening this week--no bird feeders or garbage, etc, as she had been careful to prevent this very thing.
She wonders if we want to talk about what seems to be an increased bear presence this year--and perhaps keep some documentation of the number of bear visits to people's yards.
