Busy weekend


Oktoberfest isn't the only event coming up this weekend.  

***Of course, you already have the Carlin Lake Association annual meeting---Saturday morning at Watkins'--on your calendar.  Arrive at 9:30 for snacks and coffee before the meeting.

***The big rummage sale sponsored by the PI Lions and Lioness is Friday and Saturday, Aug. 30-31st from 9:00 to 4:00 at the community center.

***The annual fireman's parade and picnic is Sunday, August 1st, starting at noon.  It's always a fun parade, and a good way to show our support for these important volunteers in our community.   

***And, if you are looking ahead for something to do, Loon Days in Mercer is Wednesday, August 4th.
