Wolf Awareness Week

The Timber Wolf Alliance, housed at the Discovery Center, is celebrating Wolf Awareness Week from October 16th to 22nd.

Annually, a poster competition is sponsored, with this year's winner being pictured here.   The poster makes the wolf look pretty peaceful and lovable, I think.

The TWA aims to promote unbiased information about gray wolves in the Midwest.  They work to understand the complex relationship between wolves, society, and the landscape.
