Areas south and east of us received more snow yesterday than we did. In fact, as I drove toward Boulder Junction yesterday afternoon, it seemed I crossed a line--no snow on our side, and about 3" on the other side.
Reports says Rhinelander's snowfall was between 6-8" and Presque Isle's only around 1". But, it looks wintery at Carlin Lake today, and snow is filtering down.
If you are somewhere still enjoying fall weather (like this photo of the maple in my sister's yard in Indianapolis,) we want you to experience the contrast of our nice, but modest, first snow of the season.
