A November swimmer

 

 

Would you guess anyone has ever been swimming in a northern Wisconsin lake eight months in a row?      

Bill Draves has!   I'm sure that he holds the record for most consecutive months with a swim in Carlin Lake:  this year, every single month from April to November!    

Bill titled his email to me "last swim of the year," so I guess he doesn't hold out aspirations for a dunk in December, if the lake's not frozen over yet.

This photo, forwarded from Bill, shows that he doesn't take himself or his swimming record too seriously.    Perhaps someone else wants to challenge Bill's record next year?
