1) Could you use a fabric mask to wear when you need to get out and around? Our Highway P neighbor Gail Speer is an amazing quilter, and has turned her skill to making masks for people to use, as the CDC recommends. Gail has generously offered to sew masks for any of us, asking only for a donation to cover the cost of the materials.
Just contact at her email address below, let her know how many masks you could use, and whether any are for children. Gail will let you know how to make the transfer from her sewing machine to your face.

2) Many of us have sorely missed Gail's excellent weather information and graphs in the months since her first comprehensive weather website was closed. Now, Gail is working through Wunderground to share weather information exactly from our area, just a mile or so down the road from Carlin Lake.
Gail says she has less control over design, going through this weather service, but that the same information should be on this weather site, with the exception of snowfall and snow depth on the ground.
I am thinking this weather info may be helpful, as we go into the snow and strong winds predicted for Sunday and Monday.

I hope we are all experiencing this same care and concern for others, both giving and receiving support during this time of waiting at home.
Thank you, Gail!
