Those of you "down south" know that your areas have received a couple of hefty snowfalls that we have missed Up North. The ground here has stayed snow-covered through January, but snowmobilers and skiers have reportedly stayed down in the southern part of the state to enjoy winter activities.
No longer! It snowed steadily all day yesterday, and Danny measured that we got about 8 1/2 inches of fluffy new snow. It definitely looks more like a Northwoods winter than it has since Thanksgiving. Thanks also to Danny for this peaceful photo.
And, no matter where you are, sounds as though we have COLD days ahead of us. Stay warm, stay well, stay busy!
