The end of all-girl summer STEM camps may be near.
Complaints of gender-bias against boys were filed with 15 all-girl summer STEM camps across the U.S.
It resulted in the Office of Civil Rights in the Department of Education ruling all 15 were biased against boys.
Middle school is the time when a)children, especially boys, decide whether they can go to college; and b)when the summer camps prohibit boys from learning about STEM. It's a damaging combination. Over 20 million smart boys have been refused admittance to college.
