Very good blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm totally confused .. Any tips? Kudos!

I'd be curious to hear from a Gen Y on this one. My hunch is that, for them, it's not a war at all. What we consider "the media" is not where Gen Ys get their information. Therefore, they may not even be aware that there is a war against them. Also, I don't think Gen Ys see things like Boomers and Xers in terms of competition, fighting, struggling, "war." It's not the best man (or woman) who wins. It's the best team.

Lastly, I would bet that in terms of the new versus the old, Gen Ys look at these issues with previous generations the same way I look at my Auntie Helen. She's 91. She's convinced that a ringer washer is the best way to wash clothes (it's this contraption from like 50 years ago). I listen. I nod. I smile. And I go wash my clothes in my modern-day washing machine.
